Dental lollipops hit market

Sample News Big

Lollipops that are actually good for your teeth have hit the market in America.

Reports have suggested that the orange flavoured lollipops, which are produced in a factory in Grand Rapids, Michigan, actually kill harmful oral bacteria.

The sugar-free lollipops are reportedly infused with an ingredient, which is found in licorice, that kills Streptococcus Mutans, the main bacteria cause of tooth decay.

Named Dr John’s Herbal Candy, the lollipops are one of several consumable products that have been designed by the University of Central Los Angeles to fight harmful bacteria in the body.

Apparently there are a number of other products currently in the production stages which target harmful bacteria in noses, ears and guts too.
