Dental hygienists launch board game to aid study

Sample News Big

Two dental hygienists from America have launched a board game to help dental hygiene students pass their exams.

Karen Isbister and Carrie Clotworthy made up the game when they were studying for their board exams and have now decided to launch the product as a study aid for dental hygiene students. The aim of the game is to enable students to stay focused and learn, while also having fun; the board game has over one thousand questions and is believed to be as effective as reading text books for some students.

The game, which is called Pass It! has more than a thousand questions about dental hygiene; it allows students to study in groups and enables students to study for longer, as it breaks up the tedium of reading books and lecture notes.

Karen Isbister said that students will be shocked at how much they can learn by simply playing the game; the questions are carefully selected and tailored to the exam. All the questions have been taken from exam material and text books. The game has been approved by several directors of dental hygiene schools across the USA and is likely to sell very well. Karen and Carrie are now taking the game to exhibitions and conferences.

The game can be played by groups of between 2 and 4 players.
