Dental Firm Launches Children in Need Bike Ride

DBS, a dental accountancy and consultancy firm in Thame, has launched a bike ride challenge in aid of Children in Need.

The team is aiming to complete a gruelling 98-mile ride from their office in Station Yard in Thame to Brighton, on board an exercise bike. The bike will be stationed at the office and on Friday 18th November staff will take it in turns to cycle until the 98-mile target has been reached.

The bike is also calculating the amount of calories burned and anyone who donates can guess the total number of calories, to be in with a chance of winning a bottle of champagne.

The charity bike ride will be streamed live from the DBS website, so members of the public can track the progress of the team and you can log in at any time of the day.

The team consists of Penny Levett, Penny Bowen, Kelly Webster, Nathan Poole, Nick Stewart, Darren Nicholson and Peter Lambert.

All the money raised will be donated to Children in Need, an annual charity event, which raises money for children in the UK and abroad. Money donated to Children in Need is given to projects and programmes to support children living in poverty.
