Dental care company, Henry Schein, is set to donate financial and medical aid to victims of the Pakistan flood.

The company is joining forces with Direct Relief and the International Medical Corps to provide medical products and money to help those affected by the devastating floods. The programme is part of the Henry Schein Cares social responsibility programme, which helps thousands of people across the world each year.

The company has also set up a fund, which employees and members of the public can use to donate money to the Pakistan aid effort; the company has promised to match the sum of the donations and the money will be sent directly to aid agencies in Pakistan.

Stanley Bergman, the chairman of the organisation, said that helping afflicted people was part and parcel of the company’s role as a multinational corporation. Bergman said that the company would continue to donate to aid efforts across the world; last month, Henry Schein teamed up with Sirona Dental Systems to provide dental equipment for a new clinic in Peru.
