Dental Checks On Offer At Barnet Health Event For People With Learning Disabilities
Free health and dental checks will be available for people with learning disabilities at the Happy Healthy Fun Day event in North Finchley, which has been organised by Barnet Mencap and Barnet Borough Council.
Organisers will be welcoming people to the event from 10am next Wednesday and there will be a host of activities on offer, including Zumba, beauty therapy treatments, martial arts and dance classes, as well as free health and dental checks. The event will run until 3.30pm.
Councillor Sachin Rajput said that the event is always very popular and it is a great way for people to get out and meet new people, try new activities and learn about healthy living and positive lifestyle choices; he encouraged as many people as possible to pop in and have a look around.
