Dental Check-Ups are Sufferring due to Credit Crunch

Twenty-five percent of people surveyed say that they have to reduce their dental clinic visits and buying new spectacles. Additionally, 1 in 7 surveyed say they cannot afford purchasing vitamins and/or prescription drugs.  This comes as the new inflation rate for the latest month rose by 4.7%.  Considerable increases in the cost of electricity and gas has driven up the CPI by 0.3%.
Automobile gas and electric bills increased the CPI by 0.3 % in July, 2008. People are struggling to meet their basic necessities, and it is very difficult to them to pay health care costs. British adults surveyed (approximately 2,000), with families who have children less than 16 years of age are being hurt the most, and seventy percent are reducing their expenditure for health care. Greater than 60% of pensioners said that they can no longer afford to meet health care expenses.
