Denplan has become the latest firm to support Marwell Zoo’s Go Rhinos! Campaign. The campaign will see the streets and parks of Southampton paved with life-sized rhinos this summer.

Denplan quickly submitted their bid to sign up to the stampede before the March deadline. The campaign, which is backed by The Daily Echo, is a modern art exhibition, which aims to raise money for local charities and bring business and tourism to the area.

Companies were invited to bid from £3,500 to £4,000 to get a rhino, which they will can decorate if they wish with a design from a local artist. Some the money gained from the ten-week extravaganza will be used to support rhino conservation at Marwell Zoo, as well as projects within the wildlife park, the Rose Road Association and Wessex Heartbeat’s HIGH 5 Appeal.

Steve Gates, managing director of Denplan, said that everyone was thrilled to be part of the campaign, which will be great fun and an enjoyable way to raise money for local charities and bring more people to Hampshire.

The Go Rhinos! campaign will kick off on July 13th and Southampton will be dotted with multi-coloured life-size rhinos.
