DenLab Relocates To New Home In Leigh

Sample News Big

DenLab, the laboratory known for Piranha mouth guards worn by elite sports stars, has relocated to a new home in Leigh.

DenLab sells a wide range of dental appliances and products, including retainers and gum shields to dental practices and members of the public and is best known for its Piranha mouth guards, which are endorsed by boxer, Amir Khan and members of the Wigan Warriors rugby team.

The lab has also pioneered kits, which allow people to make their own mouth guards at home.

Simon Nixon, managing director of the firm, said that relocating to Leigh makes good business sense, with excellent transport links and close proximity to Manchester Airport. The new premises are larger and the company can now make use of additional facilities, such as training rooms, which is great news, especially as the lab has recently taken on two apprentices, with plans for two more to join next year.

The lab started with just two employees and this has grown to seven, with plans to increase recruitment in the future. Mr Nixon added that he hopes to add five members to the team and he will be focusing on applicants from the local area, as he is committed to investing in local talent and supporting the region.

The firm is also offering discounted rates of 50 per cent on Piranha mouth guards for local sports clubs.
