Dangerous oral health: flossing when driving

A woman has been caught flossing while driving along a motorway at 70mph.

The adrenaline flosser, 36, left traffic enforcement officers stunned when they spotted her meticulously cleaning between her teeth in her rear-view mirror while flying down the M4.

Police said that a lot of drivers have been caught breaking road safety laws while at speed because of vanity.

They revealed the people had been caught applying lipstick, putting on make-up, doing their hair and using electric razors.

They said flossing was particularly dangerous, as two hands are needed to floss effectively.

The woman, who was caught near Junction 24 by Coldra, Newport, was find £60 and reportedly received a ticking-off from officers.
