Dalbeattie Practice Named Best Surgery im South of Scotland
A Dalbeattie practice has been named the best surgery in the south of Scotland.
Birch Valley Dental Clinic fought off stiff competition to be crowned the best practice in the region at the Dentistry Scotland Awards, which took place recently in Gleneagles.
The practice also received another award, with dentist Laura Kerr named the second best young dentist in Scotland at the UK Dentist Awards in Leicester. 30 year old Laura was a runner up in the national competition and received plaudits from her colleagues.
Joanne Woods, practice manager, said that the team was absolutely delighted with the best practice award and very proud of Laura. The dental team said that they were proud to represent Dumfries and Galloway and gain some positive publicity for the area.
The practice is getting stronger by the day, with the addition of two new dentists, Rebecca O’Callaghan and Aidan Tinney and they are hoping to win more awards in the coming years.
