Cromer Dentists Sport Moustaches To Support Movember

Sample News Big

Four dentists from a Cromer dental practice have spent the last 25 days growing moustaches to support Movember.

Dean Gibson, Richard Hardy, Kiran Arkala and Emile Breytenbach, from Corner House Dental Practice in Norwich Road, have avoided their razors this month to support the annual Movember appeal, which raises awareness of men’s cancer and supports charities, which care for men with cancer and their families.

Last year, the dentists raised around £500 for the Movember Foundation, but this year they are hoping that their ‘taches will draw donations worth at least £550. In support of their male colleagues, female members of staff wore stick-on moustaches and patients have been very generous with their donations so far.

Movember runs throughout the month of November and is supported by men all over the world who shun shaving in favour of growing moustaches of all shapes and sizes. The aim is to raise awareness of men’s health conditions, encourage men to keep an eye on their health and seek advice if needed and support men who have been diagnosed with testicular or prostate cancer or mental health conditions.
