Columbia clinic gives kids free dental
A Columbia dental clinic treated children for free for two days this week.
Midlands Technical College (MTC) Dental Clinic gave free dental to more than 100 children as part of the Give Kids A Smile program.
The scheme aims to tackle the issue of untreated oral diseases among disadvantaged children.
MTC, which has participated in Give Kids A Smile for eight years, provided cleaning, examinations, X-rays, and fluoride applications as part of the free care, which was offered to 4 to 19-year-olds that aren’t covered by Medicaid.
