Canadian Media go Crazy for Dentist’s Unique Collection

Sample News Big

It is not often that a dentist is mentioned on primetime television shows or the covers of magazines, however, Dr Michael Zuk and his unique collection of dental memorabilia, have captured the attention of Canada’s media after purchasing one of Elvis Presley’s crowns for $10,000.

This is not the first time Zuk has hit the headlines and in November, the Alberta dentist appeared in the news after buying a rotten tooth that belonged to John Lennon for $30,000.

When quizzed about his unusual collection, Zuk said that he had become obsessed with collecting celebrity teeth after receiving so much press attention. His patients have also been intrigued by the teeth, which hang in picture frames on the walls of the Red Deer dental office.

Zuk is now hoping to be mentioned in the Guinness World Records for the John Lennon tooth after paying the highest sum for a human tooth. The tooth found its way to Zuk after being passed down to Lennon’s housekeeper as a memento, which she then gave to her daughter, who put it up for sale.
