A man in Canada has been arrested for allegedly practicing dentistry without a licence.

Police arrested 46-year-old Humberto Salano Rosania, in London, Ontario, on Monday 1 March 2010 after being granted a search warrant for his home.

The arrest followed a joint investigation by local police and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario after complaints were made about a man performing dentistry in his home.

Rosania has now been charged with fraud and unlawfully causing bodily harm.

Reports have suggested that Police had to notify the London Middlesex Health Unit because of the unsanitary conditions in Rosania’s home.
