Campaigners: ‘Fluoride damages bones and teeth’

Sample News Big

Anti-fluoride campaigns have revealed figures which suggest that the chemical can damage bones as well as teeth.

Fluoride is added to many water supplies in the UK as the government believes that it strengthens and protects teeth from decay.

But UK Against Fluoridation (UAF) has said that it has found evidence that the substance can actually harm people’s health.

New Zealand (NZ) researchers reportedly found that children whose teeth had been damaged by fluoride, which they suggested is around 30% of kids in NZ communities, are also more likely to have worse bone problems than others.

UAF claimed that fluoride causes dental fluorosis, a tooth enamel defect and it also said that 96% of Tibetan kids who suffer with dental fluorosis had developmental skeletal abnormalities like carpal bone hardening.

A British Medical Journal study also reported that older white women who live in fluoridated areas are at a 32% increased risk of wrist fracture.

Europe is now 98% fluoride free, and their tooth decay rate is better than any fluoridated country. They and most of the world caught on to this fluoridation hoax years ago. Adding fluoride to drinking water is an absolute waste of money. People only drink 1/2 % of the water they use. The remaining 99 1/2% simply goes down the drain.

He was the principal research adviser to the Canadian Dental Association for over 10 years in promoting fluoridation. His letter is an apology to other dentists and the public.

Fluoride is also one of the causes for Hashimoto’s disease. I was diagnosed with this in 2007. Living in Melbourne I am forced to avoid fluoridated water and any products containing it. My hormone levels returned to the normal range without taking any medication. My health has been slowly deteriorating so now I have to avoid all physical contact with fluoridated water. Please take it out of the water and allow us the freedom of choice about taking it.
