Buxton Dental Team Goes Pink To Support Breast Cancer Campaign

Last month the team at Buxton Dental Practice wore pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which ran throughout October.

The team wore pink gloves, masks and badges during the month of October to support the breast cancer campaign and encourage patients to show support for breast cancer charities.

As well as altering their attire, the team also took part in a series of fundraising activities, including competitions and a hugely successful coffee and cake afternoon. A collection box was also put in reception and donations worth more than £100 were collected.

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month drew to a close, dentists started to prepare for Mouth Cancer Action Month, which was launched on the 1st November. The campaign, which is run by the British Dental Health Foundation, is urging the public to attend screening programmes and learn more about the disease, which is killing more and more people in the UK.
