Bromsgrove Vet offering Free Dental Checks for Dogs

Sample News Big

Townsend Vets in Bromsgrove and Droitwich are inviting pet owners to bring their dogs for a free dental check-up in June, as part of a national campaign to raise awareness of pet oral health.

The check-ups will be provided free of charge throughout the month of June and owners will also receive a Pedigree treat pack. Vets will also take the time to talk to owners about their pet’s oral health.

Dental health problems, especially gum disease, are extremely common amongst dogs and it is estimated that 4 in 5 dogs over the age of three years old suffer from gum disease. Some pet owners may be unaware that they need to look after their dog’s teeth and gums and it is good practice to brush the dog’s teeth and feed it special dental chews to help reduce plaque and prevent gum disease.

Townsend Vets are also offering microchips for all pets throughout June for a special price of £12.50 as part of National Microchipping Month.
