The team from New Road Dental is all smiles after celebrating a major landmark. Dental surgeon Susanne Mitchell recently celebrated her 30th anniversary at the practice.

Susanne started working at the practice after she qualified from Cardiff University and spent time honing her skills at Cardiff Dental Hospital and the Morris and Singleton Hospital. In 1985, Susanne moved to Bromsgrove and started work at New Road Dental with owner Matthew Crisp. The practice had been up and running for four years when she first started as an associate and has evolved during the last three decades.

Susanne said it has been a pleasure to work at the clinic for the last 30 years. She is now treating many patients who she first saw as tiny children and has cared for many generations of the same families. She finds her work incredibly satisfying.

Over the years, Susanne has developed many interests. In 2010, she completed her training in Hypnotherapy at Stafford University. She uses this technique, along with other treatments and therapies, to help nervous and anxious patients.

After celebrating her landmark anniversary, Susanne now plans to reduce her hours. This will enable her to devote more time to her hobbies and passions, which include ballroom dancing, tending to a small holding and spending time with her family.

Susanne wished to thank her colleagues, patients and friends for all their kind words, cards and gifts.
