Bournemouth dental practice submits expansion plans
The owners of a Bournemouth dental practice have submitted plans to extend their premises and create new parking spaces.
The proposals, which have been put forward by BCP Council Planners on behalf of Northbourne Practice, detail plans to extend at the rear of the building on Wimbourne Road. As well as creating more space for larger treatment rooms, the practice owners also want to add an extra parking space at the front of the surgery. This would take the total number of bays to four.
The surgery currently has two treatment rooms and the team comprises two dentists, four dental nurses and two receptionists. With an extension, the owners are hoping to expand, providing patients with more spacious treatment and waiting areas and potentially adding to the team in the future.
The plans will now be considered by council planning teams and a decision is expected in the coming weeks.
