Bolton Dental Laboratory Scoops Top Prize at the Dental Awards
The team from Aesthetic World in Bolton is all smiles after scooping a prestigious national award. The laboratory was crowned the Laboratory of the Year at the Dental Awards, which took place in Birmingham recently.
The team beat off competition from laboratories all over the UK to win the coveted title, which recognises expertise, experience and excellence. Laboratory directors Sean Howlin and Dean Gee collected the award, along with members of the staff team, and everyone was delighted with the result.
Aesthetic World, which is based on Spa Road, makes a wide range of appliances and devices for a number of dental clinics across the UK. Their appliances include mouth guards, dentures, crowns and dental implants.
Speaking after the announcement, Mr Gee said that the award honours all the effort the team has put in to make the laboratory and the services it provides a huge success. Everyone works really hard and this has been recognised with a highly sought after national award.
Dental laboratories were hit hard by the recession, but Aesthetic World has navigated the stormy seas successfully and is now growing year on year. When problems hit, the firm adapted its approach and working method and invested in state of the art technology to make working processes more efficient.
Mr Gee said that it’s always nice to hear compliments from dentists and their patients, but to be recognised by the industry is incredibly special. The team is now looking forward to celebrating their success.
