A black university professor has accused his employers of discrimination and claims he was paid less than white employees.

Dr Morris Clark, from the University of Colorado has compiled a 63 page document, which details accusations and examples of discrimination that have occurred during his time at the University. Clark has worked at the school for 29 years.

During his career, Dr Morris Clark claims he has often been the butt of racial jokes and has also received a lower salary than white colleagues. Dr Clark is a director of anaesthesia in the department of surgical dentistry.

The Dean of the dental school, Dr Denise Kassebaum, said the allegations are being taken very seriously and a full investigation will take place. Dr Kassebaum said the results of the investigation will be released for public consumption and she will comment on the situation once the results have been published.

It is now believed that the document drawn up by Dr Morris Clark will form the basis for a law suit against the University of Colorado; according to Dr Clark, the years of abuse should entitle him to million dollars worth of compensation.
