The owner of a dental practice in Barlaston has unveiled exciting new expansion plans thanks to funding from Lloyd’s Bank.

Gareth Riley revealed that Riley’s Dental Studio has undergone extensive renovation since it opened at the end of last year, thanks to a loan from Lloyd’s Bank Commercial Banking. The £500,000 cash injection enabled Mr Riley to extend and refurbish the existing premises and invest in new equipment.

As part of the team’s grand plans, a new dentist has also joined and the range of services has increased in size. The recruitment of Dr Emma Noble has increased capacity up to 1,300 patients and the practice now offers facial aesthetic treatments and IV sedation, as well as a host of dental services.

Gareth, 41, opened the practice in December last year and it has gone from strength to strength. The patient register is growing and patients have access to an impressive range of treatments and services. Gareth has invested in the latest technology, including a digital scanning unit. He is excited for what the future hold and the refurbishment of the surgery has improved access for patients as well as providing them with more modern and stylish surroundings. Gareth added that feedback has been very positive in the local community and in the last two weeks alone, more than 30 new patients have joined the register.

The practice now boasts a team of nine staff members and Gareth is considering adding a third dentist in the coming months.

Healthcare relationship manager at Lloyd’s Bank Commercial Banking, Kate Salt, said that Gareth and the team have worked incredibly hard to provide local people with a valuable service.
