Barcelona’s goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen is expected to be fit and ready for action next week after missing this week’s training sessions to undergo dental surgery. The German stopper, who will not feature in Germany’s friendlies against France and the Netherlands, will be available for selection for the crunch El Clasico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona next weekend.

The 23-year old is undergoing dental treatment, which was planned to coincide with the international break taking place on the 14th and 15th November.

Barcelona FC has confirmed that ter Stegen will miss the rest of training this week, but is expected to be fit to train from the beginning of next week with a view to returning for the hotly-anticipated match, which takes place on the evening of Saturday 21st November. Ter Stegen is expected to start on the bench, having lost his starting place between the posts to Chilean keeper, Claudio Bravo.
