3D Diagnostic Imaging sets sights on Asia

Sample News Big

3D Diagnostic Imaging, the Dundee-based company, is setting its sights on Asia after successfully wrapping up distribution deals in Europe and America.

The company has enjoyed great success with its innovative CarieScan product, with significant distribution deals already agreed in Europe and the USA. Now, in light of the huge demand for the product, 3D Diagnostic is looking to break into the Asian market.

Despite the positive feedback, the company is still not generating profit and executives are proceeding with caution; distribution deals have already been signed for Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the UK and future target markets include Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Australia. Company executives are excited about the prospect of breaking new markets but they are keeping a keen eye on the books; they have said that they do not know when the company will make a profit.

The CarieScan detects very early signs of decay and cavities by measuring bone mineral density. The company is also looking into developing a similar device to measure bone density in other parts of the body.
