$100k donation helps Kentucky kids’ teeth

More than $100,000 has been donated to improve the oral heath of children from Kentucky.

The grant hopes to improve access to dentistry for those children that live in rural areas by expanding the services of the Kids First mobile dental clinic.

Officials from the KCEOC Community Action Partnership said that the Bureau College Appalachian Fund and the Pepsi Co foundation donated the funding.

The money will go towards improving access to oral health services for school children, who predominantly come from low-income homes and would not ordinarily receive professional dental care.
