Would orthodontic surgery be able to fix my severe overbite?

Q. As a result of childhood thumbsucking, i have a severe overbite problem with my front teeth. Unfortunately, due to being so unhappy with my appearance i foolishly decided to neglect my teeth in the hope that the problem would go away to the extent they are now in a poor condition. I have belatedly realised i would like to address my dental problems. I appreciate that without an examination of my mouth you cannot provide me with a substantive answer but i would very much like to know if orthodontic treatment and surgery would be possible. Thank you for any assistance,
A. It is likely that orthodontic treatment would be able to be carried out but an treatment plan could not be made unless you book in with a dentist/orthodontist and discussed the possible treament for your individual case. At kiss dental we offer free consultations which would give you a good idea of possible treatments and overall costs.
