Would it be a good idea to get “no-drilling” technique veneers vs regular veneers?

Q. After cancer treatment, I have much gum recession and discoloring of some teeth. I visit my dentist twice a year for cleanings and checkups. I need help in deciding what is best for treatment. Since I have such sensitivity, would it be a good idea to get “no-drilling” technique veneers vs regular veneers? Thank you,
A. Your tooth sensitivity will be to exposed dentine. If this is sealed your sensitivity will be greatly reduced. When veneers are placed on teeth they are bonded into place and , if this is done properly, will seal the sensitive dentine. Non- prep veneers may not disguise effectively or aesthetically the discolouration problem
