will the material being used affect the shade of my bridge

Q. Hi, I had my upper central tooth extracted and replaced ith a porcelain Zirconia Bridge ( lava bridge) Unfortunately the bridge does not match the shade of my existing teeth and therefore sticks out like a sore thumb. It is like a block of white so really stands out. My question is that did my dentist use the best material for the job i.e Zirconia or should another brnad of porcelain been used in its place. I am due back at the dental lab for them to try and match the shade again and replace the lava bridge , my only concern is that the shade will never be right due to the material that is being used . Please can you advise which route I should take as it has cost me £900 for this treatment and I am really unhappy with the results. Kind Regards

A. Hi

As a rule the shade should be fine whatever material is used. I would wait for the lab to retake the shade and see how it turns out

good luck  Andrew
