Q. Hi, I was just very recently diagnosed to have TMJ disorder whoch I knew I had for more than years now! You see it took me a long while before a realize the change that this TMJ is causing me. My lower and upper teeth wont meet anymore and it scares me. Anyway, I just had a dentist to check it about a week ago and told me I need braces and splints. Ive read many articles that this has no assuarance,though. But, if braces do somehow help, my family’s willing to risk 50,000 Philippine peso! What do you think of it? Braces for Tmj, i mean.
