Why have 2 dentists given me 2 completely different suggestions?

Q. Hi dr i have two crooked/protruding teeth at the front. One of which has root canal treatment and the other which has a cavaity. I saw one dentist who suggested 6 porcelain crowns and the other suggested 10 porcelain veneers. I dont understand why the big differenc in suggestions – why do think this may be? which would provid a better result for fairly protruding teeth – veneers or crowns? thanks for any help,
A. It would depend on your smile and how much teeth you show. Veneers wouldn’t work for protruding teeth. Get an opinion from a cosmetic dentist.
