Q. Hi there I have had an impacted wisdom tooth for a while now. It had got infected a few times and in December again but I slowly coincidently noticed I developed a type of humming in my ear on the same side. I accepted it was a type of tinnitus but it disappeared overnight when my wisdom tooth was removed. The hole hasn’t healed (4 weeks on) and the humming is back. What should I do and is this a common problem. It’s affecting my sleep, such that i’m up now at 2.30am. Please help.
