When my mouth is numbed, I panic, how does the ‘wand’ work?

Q.
I panic when I get numbed up . Will the Wand only numb the tooth and not the whole mouth. And does it work on the lower espesially. So my tounge and throat would not get numb.
A.
I’m so sorry to hear your anxieties regarding getting numbed up.

The wand helps by administering the local anaesthetic at a very slow pace to ensure the experience is as comfortable as can be. It still works like a local anaesthetic and only numbs up the area of the mouth it is given too, if it is in the lower jaw it should numb up the tongue.
