What treatments are available to correct my bridge?

Q. I have had a bridged fitted for 21 years. I have receding gums but now gum disease is now present but the metal base of the bridge is now visible. What treatments are there available to correct this.,
A. The usual treatment is simply to replace the bridge. Nowadays the materials available allow nonmetal bridges to be made that are much more aesthetic.
