What treatment can I have as I have lost most of my gum line?

Q. I have lost most of my gum line due to thirty years of wearing dentures. I am 55 and my jawline looks 65. My dentist doesn’t think he can even make replacement dentures and seems uninterested. Is there any help for? I have a very hard time chewing anything. If there is surgery for this, what does it consist of? We have medical and dental insurance but i don’t know if it will cover this. Any information is appreciated.,
A. When the bone the shrinks the best option is dental implants you could have 2 implants placed in each jaw and then have new dentures which attach to the implants.  Many of my clients are now able to eat and smile with their new  implant dentures.
