What is the better system, Cerec or 5d e max?

good day dear dr caplan …if we compare cerec system with 5d e max cad/cad ..what would you think about the result concerning the accuracy of fittings,marginal adaptation and occlusion taking into consideratrion that you have to be biased to your system ..

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for you kind words. I do only have experience with Cerec. I have tried to review the literature on D4D, Straumann and the 3M systems. Unfortunately there is limited research with these other systems. The research on Cerec supports my clinical findings in that Cerec restorations all fit beautifully and the occlusion requires minimal adjustment – this of course depends on the standard of preparation of the teeth and the dentists training – this is of course true of any system.
