what else would help to change my lower half of my face other than surgery

Q. Hi, i think i am generally considered average to good looking, i get my fair share of compliments, however… I have recently had a photoshoot done, just for fun, and although i knew that i had a cross bite (that has been corrected on the nhs with braces, expanders etc) i didn’t realise the obvious difference in length of either side of my lower jaw. i’m horrified. it makes my face look stupid. i could never work out why i always had a horrible smile, but i think i’ve just sussed it. to be honest i can’t see what else would help to change the lower half of my face other than surgery. is this expensive. please help

A. You ideally need to speak your concerns through with your dentist or an orthodontist. An orthodontist can correct malocclusion and advise if more extensive treatment is needed. It can be costly, but wouldn’t like to give you a misleading quote, so i would recommend that you take it one step at a time and consider your options carefully. Surgery is a drastic step and not soemthing to go into lightly. hope this has helped.
