Q. Hello Dr. Glaister, I was wondering if you could help me with my jaw pain. Five days ago I was playing with my dog and when she was trying to get away from me, the top of her head hit right underneath my jaw. I was not knocked out or anything, but did have extreme pain. I was holding and rubbing my jaw all day, as well as opening and closing it, which did and still does cause pain. Mainly when I open my jaw is when it hurts. There is no clicking. I have placed a call to my dentist and awaiting a return call. Any advice as to what is going on with my jaw?,
