What can i do about my shrinking gums caused by wearing dentures?

Q.
Iam 57 years old, have had upper dentures with no frontal gumshield for 13 years,my gums have shrunk and my mouth has a sunken look with little visible teeth on show. What treatment would be the best for me ? I really hate how I now look and have lost my confidence. If possible could you give me some information of the approximate cost of any recommendation you make. I have 10 lower teeth ,having lost the back ones about the same time. I have tried hard to look after what I was born with but inherited poor quality teeth and then having 2 children in early forties took it’s toll. I would be very grateful for any advice. Thank You

You could have a new denture made and have the denture built out so it fills this area out, alternativly you could consider dental implants with a fixed bridge this also will add some definition to your lip/mouth area. I am happy to offer you a free consultaion so i can advise you more accurately.

I have had my gums up top shaved back and up in order to have upper and lower dentures, they had to do it as my bone shape stuck out and the dentures would have really stuck out,so had that done and the bottoms and have ad dentures made, now my mouth is sunk in and looks terrible and I feel like my denture guy is going to blow me off and not try to help with this,,what can I do to get rid of this sunk in look?My mouth looks down,I am getting really depressed as the first time of getting 22 teeth pulled and having aveplasty they didnt do it right so had to have it 3 times and then finally go to oral surgeon,so this has been going on since march. If you have any suggestions for me I would be more than greatful
