What can be done to save blackened tooth?

Q. Hi my teenage daughter had a filling on a lower back tooth she was in pain so then had route canal treatment, the tooth has now started to turn blackish in places, i am going to book a dental appointment what do you think can be done, i’m really worried.,
A. Hi this is one of the risks after having a root canal treatment… that the tooth can darken. I am sure your dentist will be able to give you options to correct this after his/her examination.
