Was my root canal treatment successful
Q. I had root canal done about 5 months ago and still getting a niggle, i kept going back to the dentist but she said it will get better. It’s still about tender now! Can i go back and ask the dentist to do the root canal again? Regards

Hi, many thanks for your enquiry, root canal is not 100% sucessful, however it also depends on the technique used to perform the procedure and the final quality of the root canal can determine whether the treatment is sucessful or not. if the first root canal treatment has not worked then it may be best to seek the re root canal treatment to be done by a specialist, at least you know the treatment will be performed to a gold standard. hope this is helpful.
