There are square markings on my daughter’s teeth where her braces had been, how can we remove these?

Q. my daughter of 14 has just had her braces removed but where the glue was on her two front teeth it has left square marks how can we fix this also she has glue on her other teeth and the dentist said to leave it on or she will have holes in her teeth,
A. The glue is usually removed by the dentist using a drill with a special bur, It should only remove the glue and not the enamel on the tooth. On her front teeth it sounds like she still has some glue on them, I would go back to your dentist and ask him to remove this alternativly you could see a dental therapist she could polish the glue of her teeth.
