The veneers fitted in my front teeth has gradual deterioration what do you recommend next

Q. Hi Almost 20 years ago as a child I had an accident where I broke my 2 top front teeth and chipped the edge of the adjacent lateral incisor. these were all infilled with cement (or something like that) and veneered. The dentist at the time did say that by age 18 or so I should look to get them capped. They;ve never really given me problems and although I have been aware of gradual deteriation through wear, I think they are on the verge of breaking now. Is their any benefit to capping them over veneering if they seem to last so long anyway? What would you recommend? Thanks

A. I would probably recommend staying with veneers if they have lasted a long time, caps or crowns need the teeth to be drilled down more than veneers although they are stronger.
