The tooth next to my extracted tooth is now sensitive. Is this because of the trauma of the extraction?

Q. I had an extraction done and the tooth beside it has no cavities but all of the sudden is very sensitive. Is this because of trauma close to it or should I worry about something else?,
A. Its the trauma of the extraction and probably some minor recession of the gum around the adjacent tooth.
