Hi, I’m having yellowish teeth since i was young due to antibiotic medicines i took. I tried whitening toothpaste & treatment but seems can;t work. I’ve read about veneer treatment. is it the only option i have? how about laser treatment? what is the pros & cons?

I have had my veneers now for 14 years and they have now become very discoloured. Yellow. I have my teeth professionally cleaned every 3 months and have very good oral care. I am feeling very self concious about this. Do my veneers need replacing?

my third tooth is twisted

Hi I was hoping you could give me an idea of what the best way of sorting out my smile would be and maybe a rough idea of how much it would cost. When i was younger my third tooth i think its called the canine grew twisted and closer to the front than it should have because of this my second tooth never grew so now i have one tooth in the middle of where two teeth should be with gaps on both sides. i don’t mind if my rogue tooth needed to be removed for the best results. But i would like to be able to smile properly as quickly and cheaply as possible as it is really beginning to get me down. I am considering buying a home whitening kit via the internet

Hello Dr Tennet I am considering buying a home kit via the internet to whiten my teeth. I have one veneer – upper front, and I wanted your advice on whether or not the whitening process will in any way interfere/damage or even make it a different colour to my own teeth? Also, is there a particular type/brand of kit you would recommend? I know that some brands are offering a laser plasma light to accelerate the process – What should I be wary of? Finally would you advice me to do this at home? I can’t really afford dental prices…. I have sensitive teeth and gums and already use a toothpaste for this problem. Many thanks for your time

iam considering cosmetic dental treatment i have four veneers

Hi i am considering cosmetic dental treatment i have 4 veneers on my front teeth which are a few shades lighter than my other teeth. My dentist has sugessted that she changes them to a darker shade to match the others but i would really like my teeth whitened to match the frone ones.The veneers have been on my teeth for about 7 years they are okay and cause no problems could you suggest what i should do and approx how much it will cost, i have an estimate of 2000 at the moment. thanks julie

Dear Dr. Tennet! I have got a problem with my 2 front teeth. I have got always white stamps on it. On some days u can see the stamps better and on sometimes u nearly can recognize them. I really desperate because i already asket a few dentists what i can do against it. But each time they tell me that i can do nothing. So my question is…if u know a solution for my problem?
