I would like a wider smile, would a palate expander and dental implants help me?

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010
Q.
Hi. When I smile I have gaps at the corners of my mouth which looks like my upper palate is too narrow for my mouth. I would like a wider smile and wondered if a palate expander and dental implant would help me? – I had one my my back teeth removed before I had braces so I think this has caused my palette to look narrower,

My tooth colouring is off, what do you suggest?

Thursday, April 15th, 2010
Q.
Hi I was wondering if you could give me some advice, my teeth are really bad, the colouring is quiet bad but im sure I could sort that out wih whitening products, however, i went through a period of using drugs and as a result, 2 of my teeth either side have obvious signs of decay, one of which has produced a small black spot. I try to take pride in the way I look however my teeth are really having an effect on my confidence. Is there anything I could do about this or do I just have to live with it. If you could give me some advice I would be extreemly grateful as I am too shy to ask personally. Thanks,

Can you recommend any treatment that can get rid of the white marks on my teeth?

Thursday, April 15th, 2010
Q.
I have these white, almost chalk-like in appearance, marks on my teeth that I find to be embarrassing. I went into a dental clinic, once in the past, to get Zoom Teeth Whitening done…and the Doctor wasn’t sure whether the treatment would make the chalk white marks disappear or possibly make them brighter. I was wondering if you could suggest a treatment that would rid me of the annoying teeth marks.,

I have bad teeth but I cannot afford the treatment, what do you suggest?

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Q.
i am a full time student with 2 kids and very limited cash. I have had a fear of the dentist and a previous drug problem which has made my teeth soooo bad. i cannot smile as there is a tooth missing at the frontish and i have no confidence anymore because of it. what can i do in terms of repairing my smile so i can smile again and talk without covering my mouth with my hand. i would love veneers but cannot afford it. Is there dentist training or something that would want to do the work on my teeth for training?,

How can I fix the increasing gap in my front teeth?

Monday, April 12th, 2010
Q.
Hello, I am 20 years old and for all my life I have had a large gap in my front teeth that only seems to be getting bigger. I have been to the orthodontists when younger and have had moulds and x-rays taken but the dentist has always said I don’t need braces. There seems to be gum/bone at the top of the gap which is creating this. How can this be fixed and what would the cost be? (I am a student) It has stripped all of my confidence and I don’t know what to do!,

What kind of crown treatment should I have?

Friday, April 9th, 2010
Q.
Good Afternoon I am very confused!!! I want four crown on my upper front teeth, I have a crown on one of them and other two are discoloured and have large fillings. I went to see one dentist and he suggested that I get Lumminners, but can they be made as crowns? or are they just veneers? are they suttable for old crown and large filling? I am also considering CEREC crowns. Can you advise what is the best option? Would all ceramic crowns be better? I am very unsure what to choose…,

My crown is causing my gums to look obviously red, what is causing this?

Friday, April 9th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I had a crown fitted onto my front tooth a year ago to replace a vaneer that broke off. Where the crown touches the gum it is slightly red and when I smile you can see the redness on my gum, making me smile less. My dentist at first said I could be a little sensitive to the crown and to brush it better. This has not changed it and it still looks slightly red. It has never caused my any pain, just looks quite obvious……what could be causeing this. Many thanks,
