Hello, I had eight porcelain veneers fiited five years ago, although I am very happy with the result of a lovely smile, I now wish that I had had the veneers made whiter than they are at present. Please could you tell me if it possible to have my present veneers cosmetically whitened without having to have new veneers? Also how long should I expect the veneers to last before the set will have to be replaced. My worry is also the longer that they are fitted, what is the possibility that my gums will change and that the veneers will , worst case sceniario fall off, arrgh!? Please could you help. Kind Reagrds,

I am not happy with the colour of my veneers, is there anything I can do?
Thursday, May 12th, 2011New veneer is wrong colour compared to existing veneers. Can I get this put right?
Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011Hi I have four veneers, my front teeth and either side. I had one replaced a few months ago on the nhs because it had been shattered in an accident. the result is a tooth that is a different shade, a different size and a tooth that doesn’t have a glaze like the other veneers. It’s cost me £200 and made me really unhappy about my smile. I’d be happy to pay out and have them put right, but how would I choose the right dentist for the job?? I’ve lost all confidence in mine.
What can be done about a veneer that is slightly discoloured and misshapen?
Friday, December 17th, 2010Hi Dr,
I broke my front tooth last year and had a veneer fitted. I feel a bit disappointed in it’s appearance as it seems slightly off colour and the tooth seems wider than it should be, it also seems to not be shaped as the one next to it. My teeth were absolutely perfect before and I’m so upset that I broke it and now I feel that I will never look the same or do not want my photo being taken as I now hate my smile. Everyone says it looks ok, but it just doesn’t look right to me. What do you think I should do? Can my veneer be reshaped? This is causing me a lot of upset. Thank you for your time.
Will cover of new veneers be whiter than current ones?
