On june 28th 2001 it was passed that tooth whitening at 0.1% hydrogen peroxide was legal and passed as a cosmetic procedure and therefore legal to be performed by therapist!so i feel either i have miss understoodmy legal info and advise or your information is in correct or a little biased!

I am 61 my dentist said my teeth are very goods they are not as white as they was and i would like laser teeth whitening my dentist said it could weaken my teeth,i would really like it doing is it safe for me

Hi.. I always had a nice white perfect set of teeth, but when I noticed recently that few teeth became discoloured then I decided to go for zoom whitening technique. The result was disappointing and upsetting, my teeth became patchy and the spread of the white color was uneven. Can you please advise me on how to rectify this problem and regain my smile back. I have a crown on might right front tooth and over the years it has started to look lighter than my other teeth. I think teeth whitening is my best option for me since my gum line above my crown has never fully recovered (after several surgical procedures). What tooth whitening system will best help my smile match my crown? I assume it will difficult to match. Thanks

Can a 70 year olds teeth be too white?

Can an older (almost 70years) have teeth that are too white? My husband is needing a bridge on his lower front teeth and caps on 4 of his upper teeth (all but his canines.) He has whitened his teeth, but they are still quite yellow. Should we use a veneer on his canines and make them whiter? (I realize without seeing the color, you will only be giving me a general opinion.) My primary question is: Can you go too white on a 70 year old. Does it just look unnatural? Thank you for your time in answering this question.

Hi, I recently got a take home ‘wy10’ kit from my dentist. The first time I used it, I put on too much, and irritated the gums. However I did notice a reaction going on, and a slight bit of whitening. I had to wait a week for the gums to heal, and then tried it again. This time, there was no feeling of a ‘reaction’, and I’ve been whitening for 2 weeks now, with not the slightest change in colour. The dentist even swapped it for ‘poladay’, and that hasnt worked either.. they simply suggested to carry on with it. I can’t think why it would work the first time, then after a weeks wait, NEITHER brand will whiten my teeth. I have kept some at room temperature, and some refrigerated, just to try both. Still no result. Any ideas? thanks for the help
