I need help, I don’t smile, hardly talk and feel at an all time low, please can you suggest anything? I know I may need alot of work doing, would I need a complete mouth makeover??? Please let me know as soon as you can, I don’t know what else I can do anymore Desperate xx

how can i get my grey front teeth sorted advise and wondered if you could advise me?

Sunday, April 12th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I have never done anything wrong when it comes to looking after my teeth, I’ve always brushed them twice daily etc. But they are ruined, when I was younger a dentist removed a root from one of my front teeth which has resulted in it being grey. My teeth are very thin and weak, aswell as being very crooked. It bothers me so much, more than anything, I cry about it every day as I’m only 18 and can’t smile or be myself around people. I’m willing to save up all the money I have, sell my car etc. I just don’t know how to go about getting it sorted and wondered if you could advise me? I’d be extremely grateful if you could.

I have an overbite what would me my best option invisalign or 6 month smiles?

Friday, April 10th, 2009
Q.
Hello Dr Caplan I’m 27 and I hate my teeth, I visit the dentist annually for a check up I have no fillings etc. I have an overbite and some small gaps (bunny looking teeth at the front). I would like to do something about my smile but 1. Don’t want treatment to be noticeable or painful 2. I have ‘dentist anxiety’ so I’m not the most accommodating of clients, and this has put me off speaking to my dentist about. (to my embarassment Im a chartered Health Psychologist, but I suppose we all have our difficulties) I recently have had a gum guard made to reduce clenching during the night which was due to stress etc, I managed to get through the moldings ok, but wouldn’t like much more than that. I have looked at invisalign and the 6 month smile. Based on these facts, do you think either would be ok for me and based on my history which would be better (less painful and quickest)? I live in North Wales not far from the Chester boarder so any recommendations to particular experienced and accommodating dentists near the area would be very helpful Kind regards

I want is a wider smile so you can see the molars

Saturday, April 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi Dr Moore, I wonder if you could help me on a matter. I have pritty good teath and many say i have a nice smile but I am not happy with it. When i smile you can only see up to my kaynines and the teeth ( molars) are tucked behind. In a nutshell, what i want is a wider smile so you can see the molars so the my teech are in a gradual curve and not like a u bend. ( I hope this makes sense?) Is it possible to bring them out? or could they be capped with veniers so that they can be seen more when i smile? If it is possible, could you recommend a dentist, i don’t mind travelling? Also how long would it take to get the desired result. Could teeth be moved in a sixmonth period as i read on the website? Thanks

I want a six month smile in Kent Essex

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hello. I hope you can help. I have quite crooked teeth and a potruding tooth at the top right. This affects my confidence greatly and I really would like a solution. Braces are extremely costly however I have been looking at the six month brace which is a great deal cheaper however, these all seem to be London based practices that offer this brace. Will I find it any closer to home? I live in Kent. I just want a nice smile!! Hope you can help. Many Thanks
