Q.
I have been told that after a root canal in one of my lower molars, that now the root has come away from the canal and the other root cannot support the tooth on its own, and therefore the tooth needs to be extracted. My tooth doesn’t feel particularly loose, I’m not in any pain, and I don’t particularly want to loose it and get an implant. Is there anyway that titanium rods can be used in keeping the natural tooth?
