I have severely receding gums around my upper molars (due to vigorous brushing in the past) which cause me pain at times, from xray I have also lost some bone around these areas. What are the best procedures for this problem and what sort of dentist should I look for? Does the nhs not cover this?,

Hi, I currently have had a problem with receeding gums and as a result my bottom tooth has been pushed out a bit and i now struggle with a slightly wobbly tooth. My main problem is that my bottom jaw comes out further than my top so now i keep catching my bottom wobbly tooth on my top teeth when i eat. What is the best brace or treatment i can get to solve this and at the cheapest cost? thanks,

Will my receding gums stop my dental bridge from being fitted?

I had a front tooth extracted that needed to be taken out due to bone lose. The gum above the tooth also started to receed.The recession was not bad, the gum just started to pull away from the tooth a little. I believe the cause was harsh brushing. I now wear a flipper and hate it. I am going in in three days for a dental bridge consultaion. I want to know if my receeded gum will hamper my ability to be fitted for a bridge, or can a bridge be built to cover the bit of gum that has pulled back.,
